Coronavirus (COVID-19) update.

***Please check our contact page for up to date opening hours during the COVID-19 pandemic***

In light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health situation Upminster Fencing Ltd would like to confirm we are open for business as usual.  We are keeping up to date with the latest for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Government and Public Health information and guidelines.  Our customer and employee’s health and safety are our top priority; therefore, we have implemented a Business Contingency Plan. To enable us to deliver our service efficiently and safely with minimal disruption to our customers

Our plan outlines:

  • Upminster Fencing Ltd is following government guidelines to ensure health and safety practises are in place to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

  • Our staff have been provided with extra sanitisation in their vehicles and offices.

  • We are asking for customers and suppliers to contact us either via telephone or email to minimise direct contact.

  • All planned work will be carried out without the need for social interaction with customers. To minimise or eliminate any contact between customers and our employees we are more than happy to carry out work whilst customers stay inside their property. Our employees can communicate through windows to let customers know they have arrived and when they have finished. All invoices and payments can also be sent electronically via email. Should the only access to the work area be through a customers’ house we will minimise the number of trips through and suggest customers stay in separate rooms with closed doors.

  • Our employees always appreciate customer’s kind offers of hot drinks whilst working, however if you would like to minimise any cross contamination of mugs, please know our employees will understand.

  • Employees are directed to ask 2 questions before entering customers’ property.

    1. Have you or anyone else living here been diagnosed with COVID-19, been asked to self-isolate, or have been to a coronavirus high-risk area or country in the last 14 days?

    2. Do you or anyone else here have any flu-like symptoms’?

  • If you have any of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who may have, then please contact us via email directly informing us, so we can ensure we carry out the necessary precautions.

Finally, we will continue to monitor the guidelines and update our contingency plan as required.
